What is a Comprehensive Plan?

A Comprehensive Plan is a living document that represents a communities hopes and aspirations for itself in the future. 

 

The St. George Comprehensive Plan is a road map for adopting new policies and initiatives that achieve land use and development goals. This plan should assist City Council and staff in making well-informed decisions regarding land use, planning, and capital improvements - decisions that can have long-lasting impacts on the future design, form, and economic well-being of St. George.
